Rachel painted the front of my deli a couple of years ago and, even now, I can’t get over all the little details. Every time I look at it, I spot something new that makes me smile, like my dog peeping through the window! Rachel bought out the character, not only of the building but of our business and it now serves a previous memento following the business closing. I am due to open another business soon and can’t wait to commission another shop front painting to proudly hang on the wall!
I have one hook in my house and it has a painting of me on it! That sounds very vain, but every time I walk through my front door I spot the beautiful painting Rachel did of me sat in a harbour in Italy. The attention to detail makes the painting stunning; every strand of hair, every brick on the wall and the pattern on my trousers! When I look at the painting I can smell the sea and feel the warmth of the sun on my skin and the gentle breeze blowing my hair; the memories of that special holiday come flooding back!
